| The YetiCam control board is
a complete motion sensing camera control board. The board
contains PIR (Passive Infrared) circuitry to detect the movement
of warm bodied animals and then triggers a camera to take a
picture. The YetiCam board is able to trigger many different
models of cameras and the on board DIP switch allows the board
to be customized by you in the field to meet changing
requirements. The board has an on board LED (Light Emitting
Diode) that allows the operator to get feedback from the control
board. Two external ports can be used to interface with
different components like event counters and IR LED arrays. The
board can be configured for different cameras with a simple chip
change and at 1.5" X 3.5", the board will fit in numerous cases. |

| The YetiCam was designed by an Electrical Engineer with a
passion for the outdoors which means you are getting a board
that is well built with the outdoor person in mind. |

| Power Specifications
|
|
Front of Board with
Front Mounted Controls
 |
-
Wide range of supply voltage levels (5 – 16 Volts)
to allow for different battery configurations to be used
-
Increased board battery life with less than 100 micro Amps
current draw when board is idle and in 24 hour monitoring mode.
Four AA alkaline batteries should last for months.
-
Board includes diode protection against battery being hooked
up wrong to board.
|
| Board Configurations |
-
Board can be ordered with potentiometers and DIP switch mounted on the front or back of the board for more mounting options.
-
PIR sensor can be mounted to allow for board to be mounted in a vertical position.
|
| RapidPic Mode |
|
Front of
Board with Back Mounted Controls
 |
-
When in this mode camera will continue try to
rapid pictures as long as there is motion sensed. If no
motion is sensed for 30 seconds the camera will power back
down.
-
The camera doesn't turn off between events
and the board continues to try taking pictures with the
limiting factor being the camera's speed to react.
-
Perfect for trail situations and capturing
the second, third or fourth deer.
|
| DIP Switch Options |
-
Eight different delay times available to control the required time delay between pictures being taken.
-
Ability to not have the LED light up when motion is detected.
-
Movie mode with either a 10 or 20 second movie available on supporting cameras.
-
Ability to take one or two pictures each time motion is detected.
|
| Day/Night Sensor |
-
Day/Night Sensor allows for camera to be configured for Day, Night or 24 Hour use.
-
Day/Night Sensor can be adjusted for sensitivity through an on board potentiometer allow for customization of dark/light levels.
|
| PIR Sensor |
|
Back of Board with
Back Mounted Controls

|
-
Detecting range up to 100 feet.
-
PIR Sensor has a sensitivity adjustment for distance control through an on board potentiometer.
-
Sensor can be mounted so board can be used in
a horizontal mounting (as shown) or in a vertical mounting.
If vertical mounting is required, than please indicate in
PayPal purchase form.
